Abstract

Palavra-chave: Eleições municipais; Abstract: This paper aims to present general aspects of electoral coalitions of mayors re-elected in the 2016 elections. Data referring to party migration, coalition size and city size were observed. The results show that there was a greater adhesion of candidates to the practice of coalitions to ensure their permanence in the game, in addition to a considerable increase in the size of coalitions.
