In order to synthesis the different parts of non-homogenous objective functions, the fuzzy theory is used. Abstract

One of the main important challenge of electrical distribution grid studies is the optimal allocation of protection devices having dominant impact on reliability indices, non-distributed energy, the rate of outages and, etc. In this paper the simultaneous optimal allocation of protective devices including recloser and sectionalizer is carried out by presenting the novel formulation by applying collective decision optimization algorithm (CDOA). Also, all the influencing factor such as permanent and transient short circuit faults and the customer's interruption duration are considered in problem definition.
