Abstract

This paper is focused on designing the H∞ controller for the linear neutral system with input delay in the limited frequency domain. A stable controller for nominal neutral systems is designed with Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. Furthermore, based on the generalized KYP lemma, a sufficient condition is established to guarantee that the neutral type input delay system with the controller can satisfy H∞ performance in the limited frequency domain. Finally, a numerical example and the two-stage dissolution tanks system are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design procedure.
