Abstract

The whole world is currently experiencing a pandemic called Novel Coronavirus 19 (2019-nCOv). Until now, no one can say for sure when the COVID-19 pandemic will end. The virus, which has a very fast spread rate, has spread to 203 countries, including Indonesia and Malaysia. Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. When celebrating one of the Eid al-Fitr holidays, Indonesia has a homecoming culture to meet with their respective families. One alternative option to go home is to use public transportation. To increase public awareness about the spread of this virus, we propose a study in the form of visualizing data on the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia and Malaysia. To do this, it is first necessary to integrate the data on the current COVID-19 data using Python. Matplotlib and pandas are methods for making data visualizations more interactive, readable and easy to analyze. The visualization carried out is to convert rigid table data into graphs, diagrams, and so on that are able to show changes and differences in data more clearly. As a result, the display of data from ordinary analysis becomes more beautiful with good visuals using matplotlib and pandas, from the test results it is clear that the most significant spread of covid 19 is Indonesia where since the 65th day it has increased.
