The “Individual Workbench for a Corpus Linguist” Information System

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the information system project for creating of the individual workbench for a corpus linguist, that deals with analysis, design, and monitoring of corpora development process. On the basis of examination and comparative analysis of the existing systems, the most significant disadvantages were defined, as well as the most desired changes and improvements. The system was described by using UML notation diagrams. The paper includes the overall description of the system modules, prototypes and documentation on the system usage.
