Abstract

The Ecological Information Center was established in 2013 as a subdivision of the National Library’s Department for Technologies and Economics. The Center’s tasks are to open access to its resources and ecological information, to draw attention of the local community to regional ecological problems, to provide ecological education and awareness. The author focuses on the methods, collaborations with other organizations and prospective activities and projects.
