Abstract
This article describes the vehicle electrics control system - AVELPOL (Automotive Electronics Polytechnic, acronym is structured in Russian: AVtomobil'naya Electronica POLyteha). A brief overview of existing solutions for controlling the electronics in vehicles is given. One of the main analogues is described more detail (CAN bus) in order to show all the existing drawbacks of the modern systems that are removed with the help of AVELPOL system. The transmission of information and signals in vehicles using the proposed bus structure of the system is described. The ways of possible development of the whole network architecture of the vehicle are considered, including a new approach to the division of the main systems of the car into control and information systems. The description of AVELPOL system, its structure, parameters, software and main advantages are given. The main results of the work and a description of the starting prototype of the system are listed.
