Abstract

Reflector antenna are widely used for Earth station, satellite, radar, radio astron-omy, and deep space communications. That, is why recent researches are intersted usually in enhancing simulation tools and developing new techniques to predict the electromagnetic properties of these devices. The MoM-GEC is one of the intersesting method which is well adapted to investigate planar structures. In this paper, based on this approach, we study the diffraction of 1D structures. for validation purpose, we investigate 1D reflectarrays to prove the new approach's benefits. Numerical results are presented and show good agreement when compared to HFSS simulation.
