Abstract

The description of the experimental setup for creation of optical vortices in multimode fibers and automated research of intensity distribution of the output radiation in order to identify the presence of optical vortices is given. The input device is assembled on the basis of the optical microscope, the output device is based on using of the moving television camera. The focus of the laser beam and the spatial position of the television camera are controlled by the microcontroller and the personal computer with the possibility of remote control via the Internet. Using the device confirmed the hypothesis about the rotation of the speckle spots at the longitudinal offset of the plane of observation relative to the axis of the fiber.
