Abstract
Assume xt is a 1-dimensional diffusion process. Suppose xt is exactly observable only when it has negative values, so there is no information when it has nonnegative values. In this paper the filtering equation is derived by using the reverse-time diffusion process. The example of the Wiener process case filtering equation is also presented
