Research on English Teaching Model Supported by Multimedia Technology

Abstract

With the information technology gradually getting into people's lives, the multimedia technology has brought the convenience of high speed and high efficiency for our life, study and work. This paper firstly expounds the concepts of multimedia technology, then, it puts forward the construction of the model, including putting forward the model, elements, functions, and so on, finally, synthesized and summarized the new model made. At present the multimedia technology has made the corresponding development in the English teaching in research and application, but it still has a long way to go from the real widely used in English subject.
