Abstract

Smart Education promises to bridge formal and informal learning contexts with personalized learning opportunities. However, how to provide learners informal learning activities that consider their personal contexts, while related to their formal learning context, is still an open research challenge. In this paper, we build upon our previous work to semi-automatically create a set of activities to be deploy in Moodle out of open data from the Web. We obtained 7,596 learning activities related to historical buildings from Castile and Leon, which are related to the student previous learning experiences in informal contexts. Thus, we illustrate how to automatically create Moodle activities to support Smart Education.
