The operating frequency band is from 24.61 GHz to 27.74 GHz and 39.50 GHz to 42.15 GHz, almost covering 5G N258 (24.25-27.5 GHz) and N260 (37–40 GHz) mmWave bands with reflection coefficient less than -10 dB. The average gain in passband is 4.5 dBi and 1.6 dBi and the relative impedance bandwidth is 11.96% and 6.49%, respectively. Abstract

A dual frequency filtenna (filtering antenna) for the fifth generation (5G) millimeter wave (mmWave) applications is proposed. The proposed antenna with a size of 6×6mm consists of a rectangle patch and a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity. The resonant mode in SIW cavity are TE102 (for N258 band) and hybrid TE202 mode (for N260 band).
