Abstract

The thematic discussion in people language, ie the dialogue, was widespread from antiquity to the 18th century. In the recent decade, the study of the dialogue intensified. This chapter presents notes on dialogue and oral language. Literary dialogues are occasionally called potential witnesses of texts that have been studied past conversations. However, research has recognized the difficulty in literary traditions. In the course of research for this book, some observations have been seen. First and foremost, it is striking that only very few dialogue authors claim a real conversation is evident in their work. Authors of the debates between Christians and Jews argue that their work contains real discussion. The original text of the chapter is in German.Keywords: dialogue; oral language
