Abstract
Summary. The scientific problem of the study is based on the need for a theoretical and practical study of the conditions and factors that ensure self-realization of persons with atypical development, as well as the specifics of self-realization of this category of persons in comparison with typically developing people. The main purpose of the study is to determine the specifics of self-realization of adolescents of different health statuses (persons with typical and atypical development). It has been suggested that the self-realization of adolescents is associated with indicators of subjective well-being, a sympathetic attitude towards oneself, a sense of happiness and resilience, and that the self-realization of adolescents with developmental disorders significantly differs from the indicators of adolescents with normative development. The study was conducted with the participation of 110 adolescents of different health status, using test methods and the author's questionnaire. As a result of the empirical study, the specifics of self-realization in groups of adolescents with typical and atypical development (the desire for personal and professional self-realization, activity, inertia, internality, efficiency and meaning of self-realization) were revealed, and the dependence of self-realization parameters on the characteristics of subjective well-being, hardiness was found. Significantly more connections of self-realization with indicators of subjective well-being, happiness and sympathetic attitude towards oneself were noted in the group of adolescents with typical development compared to the group of adolescents with developmental disorders. All this allows us to conclude that it is necessary to further study this issue with access to the possibility of predicting the level of self-realization depending on the characteristics of the subject, as well as increasing the level of self-realization, especially for people with atypical development.
