Firstly, the type of the residential district investigated is decided, 4117 households of three residential districts are selected as research object, large-scale and real-time load sample data which is up to three years is collected by using the smart meters. Secondly, the typical residential load characteristics are obtained by analyzing and summarizing the data collected.
