A phase shift control strategy is applied between the signal gates of the switches of the two active bridges in aims to control the transferred active power from the input port to the output. Thanks to the three-phase structure and the high frequency operation, this system is characterized by low input current ripples and it has the advantage of its reduced size. Moreover, this converter provides a high voltage gain and a wide input voltage range with an important efficiency. In this paper, the modeling and the control of the dual active bridge dc-dc converter will be clearly explained and simulations results under MATLAB/SIMULINK will be shown to validate the operation of the converter topology. Abstract
