Its combination with Space-Time Codes (STC) has been recently proposed for Multi-Band OFDM Ultra-Wide Band (MB-OFDM UWB) system in order to improve data rate, system capacity, wireless communication range, and bit error performance. In this paper, we propose a cooperative communication design using Algebraic Space-Time Code (ASTC) called Golden code for the MB-OFDM UWB system. The transmitter, the receiver, and the two parallel amplify-and-forward (AF) relay are supposed equipped with one antenna. Simulation results show that ASTC code improves significantly the error performance of the proposed cooperative MB-OFDM UWB system, compared to the conventional SISO MB-OFDM UWB system. Abstract
