Imprese Cooperative e Contratti di Rete: i Principali Risultati di un’Indagine Qualitativa (Cooperative Firms and Network Agreements: The Main Results of a Qualitative Survey)

Abstract

Il lavoro intende approfondire il “Contratto di rete”, un’innovativa forma di aggregazione tra imprese, recentemente introdotta dal legislatore, attraverso i risultati di un’indagine qualitativa svolta su un campione di circa 300 imprese coinvolte in 159 contratti di rete. L’indagine e finalizzata ad individuare i principali motivi che hanno spinto le imprese cooperative a scegliere questo strumento; i relativi vantaggi e svantaggi; i giudizi e le aspettative sulla performance di alcune variabili aziendali (ordinativi, fatturato, occupazione, export, costi di produzione); i rapporti con il sistema bancario; i miglioramenti da apportare per un suo piu ampio utilizzo. La ricerca intende evidenziare le eventuali differenze comportamentali tra le imprese cooperative e le altre forme giuridiche. Da ultimo, si e cercato di indicare alcune misure di politica industriale sulla base dei suggerimenti forniti dalle stesse imprese intervistate. The principal purpose of the paper is to deepen the knowledge on the “Network Agreement” an innovative way of enterprise aggregation - recently introduced by policy makers - by pointing out the main results of a recent qualitative survey conducted on a sample of around 300 enterprises involved in 159 network agreements. The survey is aimed at illustrating the main reasons which lead cooperative firms to choose this instrument; its advantages and disadvantages; the opinions and expectations on the performance of some variables such as orders, turnover, employment, export, production costs; the relations with the banking system; the improvements which should be carried out for its better utilization. The paper tries to draw attention to the possible behavioral differences between cooperative firms and other legal forms. Finally, some measures of industrial policy are indicated on the basis of the suggestions provided by the interviewed firms.
