Abstract
Power electronic converters are considered as an expensive part of energy harvesting systems while their reliability is low. Most of these converters consist of more than one stage such as DC/AC or DC/DC/AC converters that each one has its own power semiconductor switches. Increasing the number of switches is costly and leads to lower the reliability. Among different types of converters there is an especial topology with minimal structure and nonlinear behavior. Because of nonlinearity, the generation of three-phase SPWM for this converter is so complicated. In this paper a dynamic model for the boost-converter has been extracted from the basic switching functions; hence a precise modulation technique is obtained.
