Abstract
Encouraging experimental results have been obtained from a two-way load management system for large commercial as well as governmental customers on the Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCo) system. This paper peesents these results and describes the inovative two- way load management system that was developed and installed to achieve them. The Robinton Products, Inc. system operates from a central processor located in PEPCO's control center and it communicates with the customer locations through a telephone system called "Select-A- Station". Future plans for the expansion of the system are presented along with experimental results.
