Shaped Ultrafast Laser Pulses in the Deep Ultraviolet

Abstract

We use an acousto-optic pulse shaper to programmable control the phase and amplitude of femtosecond laser pulses in the deep ultraviolet (260 nm). These pulses will be used in molecular coherent control experiments.
