Abstract
This study examines the relation of different selected criteria for the assessment of left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) by using analysis of variance (ANOVA) method in SPSS. For this purpose data set of four hundred and fifty two patients were included. Initial analysis was done by using Cornell voltage criteria and Cornell voltage duration criteria for LVH in association with QRS area for the same set of LVH patients. The dependent variable taken as Cornell voltage (CrV) and Cornell voltage duration (CrVd) and the independent variable considered as QRS area (QRSA). There analyses were performed by one way ANOVA. The results were show that there were significance relation for Cornell voltage criteria (0.291) and Cornell voltage duration criteria (0.254) for LVH with QRSA.
