Penggunaan Aplikasi Bank Indonesia – Records Management System (BI-RMS) sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Efisiensi Kerja Pegawai dalam Mengelola Arsip

Abstract

The present research aims at identifying the work simplification of the employees at the Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Jawa Barat in managing records using the Bank Indonesia – Records Management System (BI-RMS) application. Descriptive-qualitative method was employed in the research. The data were collected through documentation studies related to the record management at the Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Jawa Barat, as well as interviews and observation on 6 record management employees. The data analysis employed triangulation and fishbone techniques to determine factors increasing the employees’ work simplification. The result shows that : The use of BI-RMS application sucessfully increased the employees’ work simplification in managing the records, In addition to this, the work simplification of the emplyoess Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Jawa Barat is considered excellent.
