Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the quality of consumer power supply and the study of resonance phenomena. The problem of reactive power compensation is considered, the places of installation of compensating devices and their corresponding capacities are determined. It is known that significant power losses in networks are caused by the presence of higher current harmonics. This work is devoted to the study of their influence on electrical installations when connecting non-linear loads. The purpose of the study is to ensure the compliance of the power quality indicators with the standards, as well as to limit the maximum permissible current of the capacitor banks. An equivalent design scheme was developed to determine the magnitude of harmonics, frequency characteristics were calculated and a filter-compensating device (FCD) was selected. Based on the results obtained, the influence of resonant phenomena on capacitor installations is analyzed, measures to reduce the level of higher harmonics are considered, the place of installation of the filter-compensating device and its corresponding power are determined. The effectiveness of the measures was evaluated.
