Abstract
In software engineering, scattered, interacting and crosscutting requirements are called concerns. Concern for the multidimensional separation of concerns exists right through the software development life cycle. A software process must have an ability to detect and handle different concerns in an independent way. Benefits associated include simple code (shorter and more understandable), higher flexibility, extendibility, reusability of concerns in a component, and better maintainability. We need techniques, patterns and a process model to address the problem of multidimensional separation. The paper captures real time controls in structured system analysis to identify, analyse and program the concerns. It further describes a three-dimensional frustum model and a cubical process model to implement aspects for realising concerns.
