Abstract

In this paper, the impact of plug-in electric vehicles charging on the electric power distribution system in the presence of single-phase rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) is investigated. Monte Carlo methods are used to address the uncertainties resulting from solar irradiance and temperature in case of solar photovoltaic and PEVs charging demand. Twenty scenarios of different penetration levels of PVs and PEVs are studied in this work and simulated on the IEEE 123 bus radial power distribution system.
