Analisis pengaruh perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi serta pendidikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi

Abstract

Economic development is a series of efforts to encourage the growth and development of an economy in various aspects of life. Economic development and economic growth are two elements that are interrelated and influence each other. Economic growth is certainly influenced by several factors including Human Resources (HR), capital, and technological developments. This study uses quantitative analysis with the object of research in East Java Province in 2007 – 2020. This research method uses multiple linear regression analysis which aims to determine the effect of the dependent variable and the independent variable. The results of this study indicate that partially the variables of internet users and education have a positive influence on economic growth, while the telecommunication investment variable has no effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, the variables of internet users, telecommunication investment, and education simultaneously have a significant influence on the economic growth of East Java Province.
