Abstract

This paper addresses a technique to keep plant in working condition after actuator/sensor has failed. For sensor fault event based switching technique between redundant sensors is presented. In case of actuator fault control structure reconfiguration is sought which keeps plant operational. Control structure re-configuration results in a additional controller which generates input for faulty plant based on plant and nominal controller output Stability analysis for the reconfigured system is also performed.
