Abstract

In previous research by the authors, asymptotically necessary and sufficient conditions for shape-independent stability analysis and stabilisation of TS fuzzy systems were provided. This work discusses how to incorporate into them some shape-dependent constraints affecting memberships (only). In this way, a family of polyhedral sets is obtained, certified to belong to the (shape-dependent) domain of attraction, whose accuracy increases as a Polya complexity parameter is incremented.
