The participants of this study were 196 unmarried men and women. Data were collected through a structured self-administered survey from February 24, 2022 to February 27, 2022. The questionnaires included dating violence perception, bystander efficacy, collective efficacy, social desirability and bystander behavior directed at friends and strangers. According to the results, bystander efficacy was significant factors influencing bystander behavior directed at both friends and strangers, and collective efficacy and number of couple relationships were the only significant factors influencing bystander behavior directed at strangers.
