Abstract

In the paper, results of simulation and laboratory tests of a multi-pole brushless motor with permanents magnets which stator magnetic circuit was made from an anisotropic sheet with thickness of 0.23 mm were presented. The torque static characteristics were determined based on numerical calculations and they were compared with results from laboratory tests. Waveforms of currents, voltages and electromagnetic torque were determined at the specified working point. Mechanical and drive overall efficiency characteristics were determined. Conclusions concerning the suitability of the designed structure for hybrid drive of unmanned aerial vehicle were drawn.
