Domestic Tourism in the Russian Economy: Analysis of the Current State of the Industry

Abstract

The current difficult geopolitical situation, as well as the unfavorable epidemiological situation, have formed a new way of life, consumption and labor activity among Russians. Today, Russians are increasingly choosing neighboring or distant regions of our country for tourist trips, giving a new impetus to the development of domestic tourism. The article describes the current trends in the functioning of domestic tourism and its role in the socio-economic development of the country and individual regions.
