Abstract

In this contribution, an effective strategy for the synthesis of equal-amplitude (isophoric) sparse arrays is presented. The approach consists of an iterative procedure starting from a non-equal amplitude layout. The method is very effective, and is demonstrated by an in-depth numerical analysis of a synthesis example.
