Although patch antennas have many advantages, they display some limitations in their responses for high frequency applications [1] . One of these drawbacks is their narrow bandwidth due to resonant characteristics. Various techniques have been proposed by researchers to improve microstrip patch antennas’ bandwidth [2] - [4] . Microstrip patch antennas also suffer from harmonic radiation. It deteriorates the efficiency of the systems. Several solution methods have been reported by the researchers to overcome this problem [5] - [7] . Most of the proposed solution method make antenna structures complicated.
