Microstrip patch antennas also suffer from harmonic radiation. It deteriorates the efficiency of the systems. Several solution methods have been reported by the researchers to overcome this problem [5] - [7] . Most of the proposed solution method make antenna structures complicated. Abstract

Microstrip patch antennas have gained dominance in new technology applications because of their unique features. Although patch antennas have many advantages, they display some limitations in their responses for high frequency applications [1] . One of these drawbacks is their narrow bandwidth due to resonant characteristics. Various techniques have been proposed by researchers to improve microstrip patch antennas’ bandwidth [2] - [4] . Microstrip patch antennas also suffer from harmonic radiation. It deteriorates the efficiency of the systems. Several solution methods have been reported by the researchers to overcome this problem [5] - [7] . Most of the proposed solution method make antenna structures complicated.
