SVeC is a novel series compensator, by vary the duty ratio, the line reactance is controlled. The feedback controllers based on optimal gain are proposed to the multimachine network under small disturbances. The performance of the system is compared with Optimal state feedback controller (OSFC) and Optimal Sliding Mode Controller (OSMC) for Western System Coordinating Council (W.S.C.C) at nominal load. The accomplishment of the controllers are analyzed with eigenvalues and time response plots.
