Abstract

Nowadays the use of electricity has become indispensable for both individuals and factories. Due to technological development, this use is growing. This energy source is produced on demand, when this demand exceeds the capacity of the production plants, the whole system is blocked. Smart Grids have emerged to solve many of the problems of traditional networks such as the integration of renewable generation energies, or the automation of tasks to reduce the interaction of humans with the network.In this article, this work consists of a study on Smart Grids architecture and design and the impact of the assimilation of renewable energies into the electricity grid.
