A total of 24 edible vegetables species belonging to 18 families have been reported from the areas. The inventory is expected to provide baseline, scientific data for further Studies on edible vegetables and can be used to facilitate the long-term conservation and sustainable uses of medicinal resources in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
