Abstract

It is well known that electrostatic charges are generated by the friction between the flowing insulating liquid and the fixed solid. Especially, the phenomenon of the electrostatic charge separation owing to the flowing insulating liquid has been investigated actively in oil pipe lines in the petroleum industry, because of the fire or the explosion of oil tanks and tankers.[1]
