Abstract

An effective approach of integrating the microwave absorbing element with microwave radiating source is proposed in reported work to enhance the radiation pattern of radiating source. Microwave absorber in conjunction with patch antenna array produce a modified patch structure whose radiation patterns are better than conventional patch arrays in terms of array directivity, gain and levels of side lobe.
