SUMMARY Archbishop Flynn's keynote at the “Trusting the Clergy?” Symposium is a bishop's perspective on the work of the United States Catholic Bishops' Conference at its Dallas meeting (2002) and for the future to overcome the problem of sexual abuse of children and young people by clergy and to heal the wounds this sinful and criminal behavior has inflicted on the church in the U.S.
