Abstract
The Power system is a crucial element in the achievement of a sustainable energy transition and for this reason, in the last years, power system laboratories have rapidly evolved from the old concept of simulation based laboratories to the new concept of Hardware in the Loop and Power Hardware in the Loop set-ups. The article presents and describes the features of the University of Genoa power system laboratories, the main research activities currently ongoing and the expected evolution in the light of the action related to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
