Abstract
An image fusion system using a fuzzy biorthogonal wavelet transform technique is proposed and justified in this paper. The basic fuzzy sets are defined on the low-high, high-low, and high-high spatial frequency bands at different scales of biorthogonal wavelet transform on the visible light images and infrared images. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the fusion scheme in this article.
