Current Practice on Power Quality Legislation within European Transmission Systems – Results from Horizon 2020 Project MIGRATE

Abstract

This paper summarizes the results of the power quality working group of European Horizon 2020 project MIGRATE. The results presented in this paper cover the part related to power quality legislation principles and procedures in current European transmission systems. Multiple questionnaires were distributed to European transmission system operators and concise overview and discussion about the results, including which standards and procedures are in use, how the system planning levels and customer compatibility levels are defined, is presented.
