Abstract

The paper reports a study regarding the comparison of two different architectures for the 1 kV AC power supply of railway signaling, taking into account different configurations of the neutral cable. TT (earthed neutral) and IT (isolated neutral) systems have been considered and a fault analysis has been carried out by means of MATLAB/Simulink software.
