Tras el territorio circular: una aproximación al paisaje de la periferia gallega

Abstract

Galicia construyó a lo largo de los siglos un sistema eficiente y bello con el que fue aprehendiendo el medio natural. Las huellas dejadas por los primeros pueblos bárbaros sobre las que los romanos dibujaron las trazas rectilíneas de su cultura, se mantienen todavía latentes en ciertos reductos geográficos donde la irregularidad del relieve las ha mantenido al margen, periferia de periferias. Aquellos que han sido capaces de sentir estos espacios más allá de una mirada complaciente, han intuido la fuerza de su esencia, el equilibrio de sus formas, el rigor y coherencia de su urdimbre.
