During this study, 15 % efficient glass covered crystalline solar module with a temperature co-efficient of power as - 0.47 %/°C is chosen. The PV system is mounted at a tilt angle close to latitude is simulated using PV Watts tool from National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Results shows the 5 kW PV system generates an annual energy of 7658 kWh with a capacity factor of 17.5 %. Energy cost value for the produced output is also estimated to be around Rs. 34457.
