The changes we have seen in the conduct of business and specifically of engineering will continue and accelerate. The Internet will continue to transfer power away from government and business towards ordinary people. We can take control of our personal and professional development, and the way we earn throughout our working lives. Finding the appropriate work / life balance is very important, and no-one else will do it for us. This is a challenge, but it can be enjoyable.
