Abstract
The project about the elaboration of an immersive environment, in 3D environments with sound processing, allowed to recreate the "Jon de Cortina, S.J" building in a 3D environment with the aim of taking a tour of the laboratories of the Department of Electronics and Informatics - DEI, which are located on the second floor of the Jon Cortina S.J. from the José Simén Cañas Central American University. The guided tour is a unique experience to learn about the infrastructure, distribution and activities that take place in the laboratories of the Computer Engineering career. The project implemented the use of Virtual Reality glasses technology: Oculus, for the Unity and Blender graphics engine as a 3D modeling tool, among other complementary tools. The research was developed under a methodology used by companies dedicated to the creation of Virtual Reality -VR and animations. In conclusion, at a national and international level, virtual reality or augmented reality projects are being carried out to solve different problems that allow adapting the changes that have occurred in recent years, showing the possibility of offering communication and interaction alternatives regardless of geographic location. and special abilities of people.
