Selection of Information Parameters of Diadynamic Current Amplitude-Frequency Image for Determining its Therapeutic Effect

Abstract

Diadynamic currents, which are sequences of pulses with a sinusoidal front and an exponential fall, are widely applied in modern electrotherapy. In addition, amplitude modulated and alternating with rest phases pulse sequences are used in medical practice. There are a total of nine diadynamic current types. The paper contains the results of the harmonic analysis of such currents which are presented in the form of the amplitude-frequency image in the modified radial chart. Fourteen basic information parameters of the amplitude-frequency image were identified in order to establish a link between the type of diadynamic current and its therapeutic effect.
